Neil Armstrong, astronaut, first man on moon, dies 82

Neil Alden Armstrong (August 5, 1930 – August 25, 2012) was an American NASA astronaut, test pilot, aerospace engineer, university professor, United States Naval Aviator, and the first person to set foot upon the Moon.

Neil Armstrong died from complications following a surgery.
Armstrong, who had just turned 82, underwent surgery on August 7, 2012, to relieve blocked coronary arteries.  He died at 2:45pm on August 25, 2012, at a hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
