Avenged Sevenfold drummer Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan dies 28

jimmy was one of the, if not the best drummers ive ever known. i never met him but i love him. it hit me hard when he died, i cried for i dont know how long. i do know he was a great man though. i love you jimmy, RIP

when i heard about the revs death it hit me at home, i love A7X and i wanna send my condolenses to all the band and family members and espiacly the fans, R.I.P Rev you will never b forgotten

i wrote on my avenged sevenfold shirt R.I.P REV. I am jsut a fan of his great work on the drums and vocals. for his fmaily, i hope they find peace even though it seems unreachable. As for hte band, Your great songs and legacy will live on even if you doesn't notto play anymore. That's completely understandable. Your songs will about death. But that death was a good thing that happened eventually. So like your songs, see him happen in heaven partyin it up.

My two good friends texted me and told me he was dead and I couldn't even breathe. I said, "Are you joking? Cause it isn't funny..." but then I got on their website and saw what the band had posted. Jimmy was the best drummer I've ever heard. I don't care what anyone says, I knew of no one better who could play the drums like that. It's sad that he is gone. I'm still in shock! I watched Seize the Day and I got to crying when I started thinking about how close all of the members of the band were and how badly they must be hurting. You can call me stupid for getting so upset, but he was like - just a big part of who I am. Avenged Sevenfold is a big part of who I am. I send my condolences to his wife and the remaining members of the band. May James Owen Sullivan's spirit live on in our hearts.

Since 2007 I started to listen A7X and I really like this band. When my friend told me about the unexpected death of "The Rev" I thought he was joking, but when i went to the website I realize it was true. The band won't be the same without him, but i am pretty sure god wanted him to leave to find a better place. God bless his family, Syn Gates, M. Shadows, Zacky and Johnny .

Jimmy and the band avenged was the reason I picked up a guitar and started playing...
I have loves their music ever since I discovered them and Jimmy will be missed by so
many people... My heart goes out to his family and to the band... I had hoped to meet
the full band one day... But that won't ever happen now.. I love you guys(the band)
and I hope you carry on his(jimmys) legacy and never stop remembering him...
I hope the band will grow and maybe dedicate a song to Jimmy? Sigh..

My heart goes out to The Rev's family, friends, and band mates. It's unbelievable... so young & talented. He was definitely one of the world's best drummers. A7X will never be the same. He's in a better place now. RIP Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan<3

this is terrible news, i cant imagine the pain his wife must be going through... thoughts and prayers out 2 the families {R.I.P. Jimmy!!}

It is such a tragic and devastating loss for all us A7X fans, but it is even more tragic and devastating for his family and of course his band mates. But Jimmy is in our hearts and will NEVER be forgotten!

Jimmy, my HB brother....it is so sad and devastating to know that you're gone. You lived in Huntington Beach like me, and even though I never had the honor to meet you, I still feel like I lost a brother and for that I feel even closer to you. You are truly an inspiration to me and you are the reason why I live life to the fullest. Its because of your genius creation that I have my ultimate A7X song to be none other than "Afterlife." And thats where I know you're at, in the afterlife of heaven. You will always be in my heart and in my prayers forever, and I know one day I will see you and embrace my brother. I love you man!!!!!

It is still unreal that The Rev is gone! We will never forget him and what he has given each of us! A7X forever in our hearts and on our Ipods! We Love You Jimmy! Always!
