American football player Sean Taylor died

Sean Michael Maurice Taylor (April 1, 1983 – November 27, 2007) was an American football free safety who played for the NFL's Washington Redskins franchise. Collegiately he played for the University of Miami, where he helped lead the Hurricanes to a national championship in 2001. Due to his ferocious style of hitting, his pro teammates had nicknamed him "Meast," a reference to half man, half beast.

Taylor died during his NFL playing career at the age of 24 from critical injuries sustained after being shot by an intruder at his Miami area home on November 26, 2007. He died the following day at Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital, several hours following an emergency surgery at the hospital

Re: American football player Sean Taylor died

He was shot in his leg. Some say he didn't have to die with a leg wound. People are complaining because ambulance didn't come soon enough. They say the ambulance didn't come on time because he was black. Personally, I don't know the whole story. I remember a celebrity interview (forgot who he was). He was a black gentleman. He begged to the fellow black folks to "Sound like white folks" when calling 911. He was not joking. He was serious.
