Steven Tyler falls off stage breaks shoulder - Hospitalized

Steven Tyler (61 yrs old) is A lead singer of rock band Aerosmith.

On August 5th, 2009 Steven fell backwards off the stage during an Aerosmith concert near Sturgis, South Dakota, injuring his head, neck and shoulder. He had to be airlifted to Rapid City regional hospital. A doctor who attended to Steven after his fall said the singer's vital signs were stable. He was said to be in good spirits at the time

A psychiatric expert said California authorities were fearful actress Mischa Barton might have ended up dead within 24 hours when they decided to hospitalize her under the state’s involuntary psychiatric-hold law Wednesday afternoon.

“It’s a 24-hour standard for these statutes,” said Dr. Keith Ablow, a psychiatrist and FOX News contributor. “You have to ask yourself, ‘Would this person die in the next 24 hours?’ They have to be at the brink of complete disaster.”

North Korea's "dear leader", Kim Jong-il, has life-threatening cancer, South Korean media claimed today, prompting fears for the country's long-term stability.

The reports came days after images appeared of the 67-year-old looking gaunt in a rare public appearance, increasing speculation that his health was worsening after a reported stroke last year.

Seoul's YTN television channel reported that Kim had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, citing unidentified intelligence officials in South Korea and China as saying the illness was threatening his life.

92 Years old Zsa Zsa Gabor released from Hospital (Flu like symptom)

Zsa Zsa Gabor (born February 6, 1917), also known as Sári Prinzessin von Anhalt, is a Hungarian actress, socialite and former beauty queen.

Zsa Zsa Gabor was a passenger in an automobile accident that occurred on November 27, 2002. She was initially reported as being in a coma when she was actually conscious at the time medical assistance arrived. She left the hospital in early January 2003, but required continued physical therapy. Gabor sued and was awarded $2 million.

On July 7, 2005, she suffered a massive stroke, leaving her in critical condition at a local hospital. She underwent surgery to remove a blockage in her carotid artery. She returned home on July 15. In early September 2007, she underwent surgery to deal with after-effects of her previous stroke. On September 18, 2007, aged 90, she underwent surgery to treat a leg infection, which developed as a result of her immobility.

May 13th 2009 myspace bulletin: "On Tuesday, May 12th, 2009, at 9pm (local time), the sudden feeling of physical discomfort that hit the singer of Depeche Mode, Dave Gahan, just a few minutes before going on stage for the band's performance, resulted in his immediate transfer to the hospital and the postponement of the band's show.

Even though everyone hoped for the singer's speedy recovery and the rescheduling of the band's show for May 13th, 2009, according to the information received by the band's management and the doctor on duty, the artist's health condition does not allow it.

Shortly, a new announcement will follow that will regard either a new date for the show of Depeche Mode, or its final cancellation.

On Sunday, April 5, 2009 it was reported that Farrah Fawcett had been rushed to a hospital several days earlier.

Rumor says she was unconscious and in critical condition.  Some tabloids even reported she was in comma.  But Farrah Fawcett's doctor confirmed that she is not critically ill.  She just needed to drain out blood following prior surgical procedure.

Farrah Fawcett's Health Problems:
On October 4, 2006, it was revealed that Fawcett was suffering from anal cancer, and was undergoing treatment, including chemotherapy and surgery. Thus, a possible Charlie's Angels reunion was put on hold.

The Associated Press wire service reported on her 60th birthday that Fawcett was, at that point, cancer free. Fawcett said in a statement, "This is an extraordinarily happy day for me and my family. I hope that my news might offer some level of inspiration to others who unfortunately must continue to fight the disease."

On Wednesday, May 16, 2007, it was reported that a malignant polyp was found in the area where Fawcett had been treated for the initial cancer. Doctors contemplated whether to implant a radiation seeder (which differs from conventional radiation and is used to treat other types of cancer). Fawcett, however, chose to travel to Germany (with O'Neal) for embryonic stem cell cancer treatment not available in the U.S. This treatment in Germany has been filmed for a possible reality television show

Jessica Phyllis Lange (born April 20, 1949) is an American stage and screen actress who, among many other accolades, has won two Academy Awards and four Golden Globe Awards.

Jessica Lange fell from the stairs and bruised ribs, broke collarbone and received a small cut on her forehead.

She was hospitalized on Tuesday and is expected to be released completely fine.
