Marie Osmond's Adopted Son Committed Suicide In Los Angeles

On February 26, 2010, Osmond's adopted son Michael (18) committed suicide, by jumping to his death. Michael leapt from the floor of his apartment building in Los Angeles, California. He had reportedly battled severe depression for most of his life and had been in rehabilitation at the age of 16

I understand he went through rehab in the past - As a Gay man his Morman family might have thought treatment for this was helping. I know he was studing design in LA before jumping to his death. I hope he did not check out for being gay, parents may mean well but unconditional love is what a son or daughter need. The young man was not broken because he was gay, but maybe his heart and spirt were. This is just my thought on this, I hope the family heals and care for one another.
