Billy Joel's Daughter Attempts Suicide

On December 5, 2009, Joel's daughter Alexa Ray was hospitalized after a reported suicide attempt. She took pills and called 911 herself. She was not overdosed - so people speculate she's crying for help. Alexa is the only child of Billy and ex-wife Christie Brinkley. Christie Brinkley came to the hospital. Billi Joel didn't (he was 2.5 hours away).

You should feel like a dog if that was my kid i would go where he/she is whats wrong, making a money deal thats more important than your daughter!

I agree, minutes nor miles should separate you from your obviously sick child. Alexa was crying out and Billy didn't hear. Hugs, kisses, and loving words are medicine to the soul... I pray for unity, harmony and peace for them.

C'mon Billy 2.5 hours or 2.5 minutes it doesnt matter....when your child needs you it is impotant to be there for that child...I am not bashing but his child was crying out for help and he wasnt there. I hope they get things settled and wish Billy, Christie, and Alexa well and hope they heal and get on the right path to rebond. Get well Alexa.
