I am also 41 (single) so we may have similar interests :).
We get 1000 - 1500 visitors every day (sometimes a lot more).
More than 50% of the visitors are repeat visitors.
Because of the nature of the website, not much people participate. They just come to check out news and leave.
Just so you know, there will be several thousand people welcoming you this week. They may not actively greet you. But they are there.
