Fess Elisha Parker, Jr. was an American film and television actor best known for his 1950s portrayals of Davy Crockett for Walt Disney and of Daniel Boone in the late 1960s. He was also known as a wine maker and resort owner-operator.

LOVED this man ... So many good memories of watching Daniel Boone. He was a Man (and so handsome)and a BIG Man (And sooo Handsome)! What a dream come-a-truer was he!! Fly with Jesus. There was

Although my dad was the original one who grew up hummin' this catchy song of promise, I also am proud to admit to lovin' this legend too. Fess, as both Davy Crocket and Daniel Boone, always inspired me, a proud "daddy's lil' girl, to go off explorin' the great outdoors and I still love to. Thank you Fess for making me a Queen..."of the wild frontier" (not some powder puff chick!). You made a legend real and it always will live on no matter what generation. he was one of my favorite actor when i was growing up back in the late 50s, fess and buddy ebson was great together.
