WWE wrestler Eddie Guerrero dies 38

Death of WWF wrestlerEduardo "Eddie" Gory Guerrero Llanes (October 9, 1967 – November 13, 2005) was an American professional wrestler born into a Mexican wrestling family. He wrestled in Mexico and Japan and in every major professional wrestling promotion in the United States. He wrestled in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

Death of Eddy Guerrero

On November 13, 2005, Guerrero was found unconscious in his hotel room (The Marriott City Center) in Minneapolis, Minnesota, by his nephew, Chavo. Chavo attempted CPR, but Eddie was pronounced dead when paramedics arrived on the scene. He was survived by his widow Vickie Guerrero and their two daughters, Shaul and Sherilyn. He also is survived by a daughter, Kaylie, from a previous relationship.

An autopsy revealed that Guerrero died as a result of acute heart failure, caused by undiagnosed arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease. Although Guerrero had not taken alcohol or illicit drugs for nearly four years, his past excesses contributed to his heart failure.

Guerrero's wife Vickie claimed that he had been lethargic and unwell in the week preceding his death, but had attributed it to the stress of continuously traveling and performing. She added that the doctors had told her that Guerrero's blood vessels had shriveled and weakened as a result of an undiagnosed heart disease, and that he had simply dropped into a deep sleep.

On the November 30 edition of WWE Byte This!, Chavo said that Guerrero had been working hard and was at peak physical fitness as a result, doing cardiovascular and weight training exercises every day. There had been no symptoms or cause for concern. Chavo noted that, while many people abuse drugs for over ten years with no ill effects, Guerrero had suffered heart complications that were not detected in time to prevent his death, even though he had ceased his drug abuse some four years earlier.

Re: WWE wrestler Eddie Guerrero dies 38

When I broke into the wrestling business at the young age of 15 back in 2000 one of the first stars I met was Eddie he was such a caring guy he had seen me wrestle in a indy show in El Paso and he came right up to me after the match and just sat down and talked to me like he knew me for ten years he kept telling me what i did right and what i did wrong never saying it like i was bad just saying this is where I can improve in later matches he and Chris Benoit were always giving me advice and even after the got to the WWE got me booked in several WWE dark matches and eventually got me my current deal wrestling in Japan. Eddie was a loving man he loved the wrestling business he loved his friends and more importantly he loved his family just as much once he finally kicked his addictions he became a dedicated father. When he died and when Chris Benoit died the wrestling business lost some of the greatest talents this business will ever know. R.I.P. Eddie I know u are looking down right now with a big smile on your face.

I'm 17 now, and I remember when I watched the tribute episode of RAW in 2005. I was one tough kid, but I just had to break out in tears. I never talked to anyone for a few days, and, my love for the WWE died on that day.

Eddie Guerrero was simply the best I remember when he came to WWE in 2000 with chris benoit and perry saturn. My cousin even met Eddie when he was living here in florida and signed him an autograph before he left with his family to arizona. You knew eddie was the nicest person in the world couple years passed till 2004 and he was the only reason I watched Smackdown I especially enjoyed watching him throw the chair and him lie down to disqualify his opponets. the biggest match i'll always remember is No way out 2004 when he won the wwe championship hard to believe its almost 5 years since he passed away I cried when rey mysterio dedicated the 06 royal rumble match to him I seen the promo for his no way out match. Re: WWE wrestler Eddie Guerrero dies 38

Eddie Guerrero died today he was 38 years old. He dies from heart failure. Vicke Guerrero (wife) said that he didn't think he was tough enough, so he wanted to get bigger and fit and also stronger! He lifted alot of weights. But perhaps he didn't think it was good enough for him. So how he died was his blood vessels in his back popped one night in Al Paso, Texas November 13, 2005 and thats when he had complication's near his heart And the blood rose to his lungs and then he died of heart failure. That was a sad day that day when Eddie Guerrero died. He still had alot of years for him to live for. But i guess i't just wasn't ment to be. Eddie Guerrero was actually my favorite wrestler near 2003-2005 and then when i heard he died that night on smackdown i cried my eyes out!!! I alway's wanted to meet Eddie Guerrero but i didn't. I will miss you Eddie Guerrero! R.I.P November 13, 2005 P.s. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST!!!
