Tracy Morgan & Casey Kasem in Critical Condition

Tracy Morgan (45) was involved in a six-vehicle accident in New Jersey on the New Jersey Turnpike on June 7, 2014. He was reported to be in critical condition in the intensive care unit of UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School's Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He was a passenger in a limousine bus returning from a show in Dover Downs Hotel and Casino in Dover, Delaware.

Casey Kasem (82) is in critical condition at St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor, Wash.

“Casey Kasem’s health is declining and won’t be with us much longer,” daughter Kerri Kasem and his other children said.  The former host of “American Top 40? and “Casey’s Top 40? is receiving antibiotics, blood pressure support medicine and care for complications from his bed sores.

In October 2013, Kerri Kasem said that her father was suffering from Parkinson's disease; a few months later, she said that Casey Kasem was diagnosed with Lewy body dementia, which is often difficult to differentiate from Parkinson's. Due to his condition, he is no longer able to speak.

Ruth Ann Steinhagen (December 23, 1929 – December 29, 2012) was an American woman who shot and nearly killed Eddie Waitkus, star first baseman of the Philadelphia Phillies, on June 14, 1949 in one of the first instances of what later became known as stalker crimes. The incident is one of the inspirations for the 1952 baseball book The Natural, made into a film in 1984 (starring Robert Redford)

Olympic runner Oscar Pistorius charged with murder

On 14 February 2013, reports surfaced that a woman had been shot and killed at Pistorius's Pretoria home, with one police spokesman reportedly stating the woman was Reeva Steenkamp, Pistorius's girlfriend. Johannesburg's Talk Radio 702 told Sky News that police had arrested a 26-year-old man believed to be Pistorius on suspicion of murder and a 9mm pistol was recovered from the scene. Police have confirmed that Pistorius has been charged with Steenkamp's murder. Reports have also suggested that Pistorius will undergo forensic medical tests at The Mamelodi Day Hospital. Reports have stated that police officials are set to oppose bail for Pistorius.

Some early media reports indicated that the shooting may have been an accident caused by Pistorius mistaking his girlfriend for an intruder. A police spokeswoman stated that those reports did not come from the police. The spokeswoman also stated that earlier in the evening the neighbors heard "shouting and screaming" coming from Pistorius' house and that the police were called to the house on some previous occasions responding to reports of "a domestic nature"

Oscar Leonard Carl Pistorius (born November 22, 1986) is a South African sprint runner. Pistorius, who has double below-knee amputations, competes in T44 (single below knee amputees) events though he is actually classified in T43 (double below knee amputee). He is the T44 world record holder for the 200 and 400 metres events, and the joint T43 record holder for the 100 metres.

At the 2012 Summer Olympics on August 4, 2012, Pistorius became the first amputee runner to compete at an Olympic Games.

A photographer, who thought he spied Bieber sitting in his parked white Ferrari, was struck and killed by oncoming traffic as he walked across a Los Angeles freeway to get back to his car after snapping photos.

...but Bieber was not in the car at the time of the New Year's Day incident.

Brooke Shields' mother and manager, Teri Shields, Dies 79

Teri Shields, who began promoting her daughter, Brooke, as a child model and actress when she was an infant and allowed her to be cast as a child prostitute in the 1978 film “Pretty Baby,” died on Wednesday in Manhattan. She was 79.

Folk singer Arlo Guthrie has announced the death of his wife, Jackie, at age 68.

Jackie Guthrie had inoperable cancer and died Sunday at the couple's winter home in Sebastian according to an obituary released by Arlo Guthrie's record label. The couple had recently celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary.

Randy Travis arrested naked, charged with DWI

On August 7, 2012, police in Grayson County, Texas responded to a call that a man was lying naked in the road. Police reported that they arrived to find Randy Travis naked and smelling of alcohol. Police say that Travis crashed his car in a construction zone, and that when they attempted to apprehend him, Travis threatened the lives of the officers. Travis was subsequently arrested for driving while intoxicated and retaliation against law enforcement officials. He posted bail in the amount of $21,500. Because this incident happened in a different county, his probation was not considered violated.

On February 6, 2012 Travis was arrested for public intoxication while sitting in his car at a Baptist church in Sanger, Texas. He paid a fine and was placed on a 90-day probation. The 90-day probation period expires September 23, 2012.

Actor Fred Willard (72) arrested for alleged lewd act in adult theater

Actor Fred Willard (72 yrs old) was arrested in an adult theater (Tiki Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles) for Lewd Conduct after exposing himself.

Tiki Theatre is a small, dark theatre.

Fred Willard (born September 18, 1939, 72 years old) is an American actor, comedian, and voice over actor, best known for his improvisational comedy skills. He is known for his roles in the Christopher Guest mockumentary films This is Spinal Tap, Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, A Mighty Wind, and For Your Consideration as well as television series D.C. On 14 April 2012, it was reported that Gibb was "fighting for his life" after contracting pneumonia and was in a coma in a Chelsea hospital.

Maurice Gibb, Robin’s twin brother, died in 2003 at the age of 53 due to complications from a twisted intestine.
