On 14 February 2013, reports surfaced that a woman had been shot and killed at Pistorius's Pretoria home, with one police spokesman reportedly stating the woman was Reeva Steenkamp, Pistorius's girlfriend. The spokeswoman also stated that earlier in the evening the neighbors heard "shouting and screaming" coming from Pistorius' house and that the police were called to the house on some previous occasions responding to reports of "a domestic nature"

Folk singer Arlo Guthrie has announced the death of his wife, Jackie, at age 68.
Jackie Guthrie had inoperable cancer and died Sunday at the couple's winter home in Sebastian according to an obituary released by Arlo Guthrie's record label. The couple had recently celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary.
