Orlando's SeaWorld suspended its famous orca shows after a killer whale lived up to his name Wednesday, drowning a trainer in front of horrified onlookers.

Police said 40-year-old Dawn Brancheau slipped and fell into his pool, but a witness said the orca rose up from the water and grabbed her by the waist and shook her

Olympic luger killed in crash

Nodar Kumaritashvili (November 25, 1988 – February 12, 2010) was a Georgian luger who had competed since 2008. He finished 44th in the 2008-09 Luge World Cup. Kumaritishvili is the third sportsman who died in the history of the Winter Olympic Games.

Kumaritashvili qualified for the 2010 Winter Olympics. During a training run at the Whistler Sliding Centre Kumaritashvili was injured after serious accident. He flew off the track and hit a support column. His injuries apparently required medical personnel to perform chest compressions. He was reportedly going 90 mph (144.3 km/h) when he hit the concrete post. He succumbed to his injuries in a Vancouver hospital.

Bill Clinton hospitalized after chest discomfort, gets stents

On February 11, 2010, Clinton was rushed to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY after complaining of chest pains. This was 5 years after he received a quadruple bypass surgery in September of 2004. He underwent surgery to place two stents in one of his coronary arteries.

A source said "he is fine" and will recuperate.

Baldwin, who is due to host the Oscars on 7 March, was discharged from the New York hospital after an hour.

His spokesman put the incident down to a "misunderstanding".

"This was a misunderstanding on one person's part," said Matthew Hiltzik in a statement.

"Alec was quickly released from the hospital, he's completely fine and is at work today."

Louis Gossett Jr. recently learned he has prostate cancer, but it is in an early stage, the actor said Tuesday.

"I count this diagnosis among the many challenges I have faced in my life and overcome," Gossett said in a statement. "I expect this to be no different."

Ailing actor Dennis Hopper is determined not to die before he manages to block his wife from taking all his money, according to U.S. reports.

73-year-old star's main aim before he dies is to block her grabbing all his money.

And he insists the star is making clear he is desperately trying to hang on until his divorce from Duffy becomes final.

Hopper is at an LA-area hospital surrounded by his children and friends, but not his wife.

Vice President Biden's Mother, Jean, Dies 92

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) -- Jean Biden, who raised her son Vice President Joe Biden to believe in what he called ''America's creed ... everyone is your equal,'' died Friday after falling ill in recent days. She was 92.

In a statement, the vice president said she died in Wilmington surrounded by her family and loved ones. She had suffered a broken hip in a fall in March 2009.

Gary Coleman is said to be doing well after an unexpected trip to a Los Angeles-area hospital.

The 41-year-old former Diff'rent Strokes star was staying at the boutique Custom Hotel when he suddenly fell ill around 8 a.m. and an ambulance was called.

But Coleman's agent is assuring fans there's nothing to worry about.

Coleman had a seizure.
